I have a really nice gold necklace, no not cheap. I was trying to get the hair off it by burning it off w/ a lighter and it turned the gold colors….yeah…can I get it back to orginal color? w/ what?

.Gold does not tarnish.lf you try rubbing it gently in a soft cloth and toothpaste.Should come up like new.
