depends on what type of gemstone.
amethist (purple) is pretty cheap
onyx (black) is pricer
and everything else..is cheap

Just take it to a reputable jeweller that does appraisals. He/she will examine, identify, and weigh the stones, determine the price and quality of the stones separately and left intact in the settings, and give you a fair market price that you will then ask for if you decide to sell it.
