I have seen celebrities and models wear the rosary as an accessory in several fashion magazines and pictures (especially japanese ones). I think the logic behind it is that Buddhist beads are worn as fashion bracelets, so why not the rosary too?

I am Catholic and my personal opinion is that I don’t think wearing the rosary like that is appropriate. However, I don’t think it is sinful.

It is never a sin to express ones faith

No it is not sinful, but if you wear it to show off, it’s like you’re not having any respect for it!Cause the Rosary is known to be a link between you and God with the prayer

If you wear a Rosary because you are expressing your faith, then it is fine, even if it is not the traditional means of using a rosary. If you wear it because it is fashionable and with no respect for its sacred naure, and only for that reason, it does not matter what your religion, you are being disrepectful and it is not a very good thing to do. This applies to Buddhist beads or Jewish phalacteries or anything. It wouldn’t be a sin if you don’t believe in that religion (because you wouldn’t accept that religion’s authority in deciding what is a sin or not), but it would still reflect poorly on you.
