What should I get my friend for her birthday?

Linda F asked:

My friend is turning 15 and her party is tomorrow. She’s very… mormon and a good girl type of person, but she is also fun and random. She’s not into fashion, jewelry, or make up though. I’m not too close with her, but I know she is an artsy girl, and very creative. She’s conservative and clever - the kind of person that would stick her pencil in her hair because she always loses it. Any ideas?

well, not sure what media of art she is into, but you probably know, get her some supplies. or get her a gift card, or good old cash is always accepted! :-)

I would get her a gift card to a store that’s almost “vintage”, like a unique store where she can find unique things.

That girl sounds kind of like me, and even though I don’t really celebrate my birthday with loads of presents anymore, I used to love receiving notebooks.
Of any kind, size and shape, a fat, blank book is always my source of inspiration. Plus, they’re not too expensive.
You can get her something nice to go with it: a set of really nice sable paint brushes perhaps?
