Nothing should happen to it if it’s real gold. It might lose a little luster but that can be fixed by cleaning it in gold jewelry cleaner.

Nothing if it’s gold. Maybe some hard water stains but those can be polished away.

The necklace and remove put it in safe place that you like the necklace and remove put it off.

Nothing. I would give it a polish and a good scrubbing with gold/jewelery cleaner every couple months or so, but nothing will happen to it.
